The COM.IT.ES (Comitato degli Italiani all'Estero) is an Organism recognized and supported by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affair and Cooperation. They are elective bodies that represent the needs of Italian citizens residing abroad. In collaboration with the Consular Offices, they have the task of identifying the social, cultural, and civil needs of the Italian community and representing their demands to local authorities and institutions.

As the heart of the Bay Area Italian community, Italian Community Services is focused on preserving our culture, providing trusted services and resources to ensure we all thrive. Founded in 1916 by leaders of the Italian community, we continue to evolve and adapt to the current needs in our community.

ISSNAF was established in 2007 by 36 prominent Italian scientists and scholars in North America, among them four Nobel Prize recipients, under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Washington DC.. It is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to connect, empower and celebrate the Italian Intellectual Diaspora in North America, connecting more than 3000 scholars, researchers and technologists in North America. We promote networking and cultural, scientific, academic and technological cooperation within our community and with public and private organizations in North America and in Italy, under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.​

The San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade is the longest continuously running Italian Heritage Parade in the United States and celebrates the accomplishments and culture of all Italian-Americans in the Bay Area. The parade is the largest economic driver to North Beach, San Francisco’s historically Italian-American neighbor-hood. It attracts more than 50,000 spectators, providing “the best day of the year” for North Beach restaurants and small businesses. Each year, it recognizes the civic contributions of Italian-American leaders while also welcoming participants from groups across the Bay Area.

Le Donne d'Italia promotes and preserves Italian culture while strengthening Italian female heritage through building friendships and community. We invite all women一Italian, Italian-American, and women of other backgrounds一to join us in celebrating Italian culture in San Francisco’s historic North Beach through social events and service to the community.

The Museo Italo Americano’s mission is twofold: to research, collect, and display works of Italian and Italian-American artists, and to promote educational programs for the appreciation of Italian art and culture, thereby preserving the heritage of Italian-Americans for future generations.

Founded in 1917, the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club (SFIAC), known as “the heartbeat of the Italian community” in San Francisco, is a thriving fraternal organization. Its 501c3 Foundation, hosts cultural and community-based events for their 900 members as well as the surrounding San Francisco community. These include the Festa Italiana, San Francisco’s only Italian street festival, High School Sports Awards Banquet, SF Pizza, Bagel and Beer Festival, and 8k Statuto Race.  The SFIAC facility, located in North Beach, boasts two large event spaces open to the public for rental.

Ital Foundation, formerly SVIEC - Silicon Valley Italian Executive Council elevates Italian and Italian American talent in business, entrepreneurship, science, and thought leadership. Serving as a vital bridge between Italy and USA, our mission is to support Italian excellence and promote educational activities that foster entrepreneurship and professional development in the Silicon Valley community and beyond.
